| Shirlynn Beagles is a small Canadian Kennel located in South Eastern Ontario about 20 minutes from the Ottawa International Airport and less than 2 hours from Montreal International Airport as well as being very close to the Canada-USA Border. My late husband, Lynn and I were both farm raised, so the importance of properly bred and cared for animals has always been second nature to us. Competitions with animals was a normal way of life too, Lynn's family were active in Standard bred horses, while I was raised in the competitive and educational world of 4-H. Therefore it was no wonder that our attentions would evolve to the "elite" of the hound world, BEAGLES. Although we began with field/hunting dogs, it was soon apparent that my main interest was in the show ring. My first show beagle was Best In Show Am/Can Ch Bayou Oaks English Leather. Spencer has not only been my close companion, but the cornerstone of my breeding program. We have been involved with breeding beagles for 25 years now.
